Program Manager, Resilient Hub Network Strategy and Florida Initiatives Program
We seek a seasoned Program Manager for the Resilient Hub Network Strategy and Florida Initiatives Program in Miami-Dade County, Florida. This is a part-time (25 hours/week), term position (18-24 months) based in South Florida and contingent upon award funding. The ideal candidate is strategic, results-oriented, and well-versed with public awards administration. Cyber Defense Analyst/Engineer
RAND is looking for an experienced and motivated network defender with engineering skills to take ownership of the security instrumentation and protection of a unique, small, fully cloud-based network against intrusions and system compromises. This specialist position in the RAND Cyber Defense Center (RCDC) is responsible for the defense of a cloud-based network hosting sensitive research.
It is an opportunity for a Mid-to-Senior-level analyst/engineer, on a contract to possible hire basis, to contribute valuable experience configuring security for and monitoring a new and atypical network as well as helping the RCDC explore new cloud-native security tools. The primary responsibilities of this Cyber Defense Analyst/Engineer position will be to protect against network intrusions, system compromises, and Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Climate & Energy Transition
The Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) wishes to make a 3-year appointment to their climate and energy modelling team. The research will entail close cooperation with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), which is Ireland’s national energy authority investing in, and delivering, effective and sustainable solutions to help Ireland’s transition to a clean energy future. The post also entails an adjunct position at Trinity College Dublin. A key challenge for the design and implementation of public policy is understanding the linkages between macroeconomic drivers within the economy (e.g., growth, employment, taxation) and micro level responses to incentives (e.g., household decisions on transportation, energy efficiency, etc.). The successful candidate’s research will explore these linkages, while also examining aspects of policy instruments intended to incentivize a low carbon transition.

These aspects have a fundamental bearing on what policy landscape needs to evolve to correct India’s land and real estate markets in the future.
