There are also some interesting research positions that span various fields of economics policy. There are a couple of high-profile fellowships related to nuclear security and India-US relations, as well as remote internships. The world’s leading think tank for tech policy seeks a senior analyst to conduct research and engage in debates related to antitrust and competition policy, with a focus on its impact on innovation, productivity and competitiveness. CSIS seeks candidates for full-time, paid internships with the India Chair. The Wadhwani Chair is the world’s leading authority on state-level political-economic issues in India, leading multiple funded projects to expand subnational engagement. The intern will be responsible for consistent engagement, coordination, and communication with a variety of stakeholders in organizations and governments in India and the US. They will identify important policy updates and new reports related to Indian and US state-level relevant policies and energy developments. Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow
The Stanton Nuclear Security Fellowship, offers younger scholars studying nuclear security issues the opportunity to spend a period of twelve months at CFR’s offices to conduct policy-relevant research. While in residence full time at CFR, selected fellows will be expected to lead a project of their own design, conduct original research and write at least one policy-relevant document. The fellows will also be mentored by the fellows of CFR’s David Rockefeller Studies Program. The program awards a substantial stipend between $80,000 to $110,000 per annum depending on the academic level of the fellow.
