Welcome to this week’s Policy Opportunities update. There are plenty of new opportunities as we start the new year. From health to energy and cyber to education, there are a wide array of jobs across various policy areas, some of which offer flexible working locations or can be done remotely. There are also several fellowships and internships available at prestigious institutions. As per usual, several tanks are advertising more than one vacancy, so make sure to search the site thoroughly and apply to all positions of interest. They will play a key role in managing the ground-breaking Production Gap Report series, helping to lead new, innovative research and coordinate with partners across the world. The Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi, receives research scholars that come as interns, in a program that is operated round the year, for a period that varies from two to three months. The internship is primarily intended for research scholars working on China and the East Asian region. The program helps them gain work experience, and sharpens their research, writing and other organizational skills, giving them exposure to high-quality scholarship. ICS is now receiving ‘virtual interns’ who connect with the Institute remotely to pursue projects or short assignments that fit into their study programs, and receive guidance from ICS faculty.
