Policy Analyst, Energy Project
BPC is accepting applications for a Policy Analyst who will support BPC’s dynamic energy program. Currently the team is focused on energy innovation, deep decarbonization, carbon management, energy infrastructure permitting and siting, and building an effective coalition for legislative action. The analyst will report to an Associate Director. They’ll conduct research on an array of energy and climate issues and will draft major written work products, including white papers, reports, issue briefs and fact sheets. Policy Advisor
(IISD) is an award-winning independent think tank working to accelerate solutions for a stable climate, sustainable resource management, and fair economies. The Policy Advisor will provide research, project management, and communication support for IISD’s Resilience Team and its work related to finance for climate adaptation within developing countries and Canada. The advisor will support initiatives that involve researching and providing support to access a range of different public and private funding opportunities to implement adaptation actions. They will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with IISD affiliates, consultants, and interlocutors in different parts of the world.
