Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Digital Transformation Lab

Fellow [Initiative on Climate, Energy and Environment]
CPR invites applications for a Fellow position to begin in July 2021. The role of a Fellow is to identify new topics and develop and obtain funding for proposals supporting policy-relevant research projects that employ a range of social research methods. This position requires the capacity to work independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects simultaneously. The intention is that the Fellow will develop his or her independent policy research agenda, and will simultaneously work in collaboration with other ICEE faculty. The IEA’s Communications Department is looking to hire an intern to support the team’s editorial output. This is a full-time, six-month internship, with expenses paid.
The primary responsibility will be to write, edit and commission articles and draft newsletters, later promoting this content across the IEA’s social media channels. The content will support the Institute’s wider mission of improving the understanding of the fundamental institutions of a free society by analysing and expounding the role of markets in solving economic and social problems. MSW Intern: Child Welfare (Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population)
Urban Institute is seeking an MSW Intern who will learn to plan and conduct research and evaluation on child welfare policies and programs. The intern will be exposed to a variety of projects, such as an effort to support evidence-building in the child welfare system. This project seeks to identify interventions that have demonstrated some evidence of effectiveness at reducing foster care involvement and improving child wellbeing and to conduct rigorous impact evaluations to raise the level of evidence higher. Additionally, the intern will work on other child welfare projects, such as one related to youth transitioning out of foster care, evaluations of programs designed to prevent maltreatment, and other projects related to vulnerable populations. Some of the projects are based in California.
