Policy Opportunities (May 21, 2021)
Global Communications Managers, Energy Analysts, South Asia Tech Researchers, Geopolitics expert openings and many new internships are among this week's opportunities.
Welcome to this week’s Policy Opportunities update. This week we see several interesting openings in the US, including one for a program on faith and public life. There are also several new positions in Europe related to climate policy and energy security as well as geopolitical and technology policy analyst roles in India. Finally, there are a number of quality internships across the world. It is always good to keep up to speed with what is on offer in the policy space!
Also, what is happening with Taiwan? Why is one of the world’s biggest Covid success stories now it's fighting its biggest outbreak of cases? How will this wave impact the Cross-strait dynamic amid rising incursions into Taiwan’s airspace by the Chinese military?
This week I published an op-ed in the South China Morning Post for the first time, detailing why Taiwan's COVID wave threatens its resilience to Chinese pressure and what to look out for in Cross-strait tensions over the coming weeks.
Since it is my first piece at SCMP, I would really appreciate any help in getting the word out about it. If you enjoy my newsletter or my podcast, and want to support me to do more op-ed writing, please share the article from the SCMP webpage to either Facebook or Twitter. Thanks!
Would you like to find out about more opportunities?
