Researcher, Sustainable Finance and Economic Recovery
E3G is an independent European climate change think tank with a global outlook. The Researcher, Sustainable Finance and COP26 will work in a small team which will conduct research and scanning work in order to facilitate the emergence of common narratives and strategic goals for strong climate outcomes from COP26 and other important meetings in 2021. The post-holder will work to connect and support the varied communities of non-governmental actors which are working in different countries to deliver systemic financial reform for climate transition. They will provide research outputs which support external stakeholders to prioritise targeted interventions and will work with a wide network of stakeholders.

CENTER FOR ADVANCED CHINA RESEARCH - WASHINGTON DC, USA
Open Source Analyst
The Center for Advanced China Research is a non-profit research organization that engages with US and partner-country policymakers, China specialists and the broader public through the production of high-quality analysis of Chinese politics in the form of regular reports, blog posts and contributions to scholarly publications. Analysts will provide crucial research and analytical contributions for CACR’s regular reports and briefings on China’s politics and foreign policy as they relate to US-China relations. They should feel comfortable working in a small-team “startup” setting and in public speaking roles. Duties include conducting Chinese-language research using openly available sources on Chinese politics and foreign affairs; producing and delivering presentations; and contributing to further business development of CACR.

Truman Center for National Policy and Truman National Security Project seeks a Program Coordinator to assist in providing strong, smart, principled policy ideas to policymakers, political professionals and leaders inside Washington and across the country. Our ideal candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic policy generalist with some experience in non-profit program coordination, project management and grant writing. The post-holder will be responsible for leading IPPR’s research and policy work, and managing IPPR’s team of Associate Directors. The Director of Research & Engagement will be a key member of our Senior Management Team and work closely with IPPR’s recently appointed Executive Director to lead IPPR into its next phase. KAS funds an internship programme in conjunction with SAIIA’s Cape Town office. Scholars are supported in honing their methodological, research and writing skills, and are encouraged to co-publish newspaper articles on topics relevant to the work of SAIIA and their studies; co-author articles in SAIIA publications; and improve their presentation and organisational skills. The programme is output-focused and the KAS-SAIIA scholars, who are assigned to mentors, generally go on to high-profile and high-powered positions in public and private life.
