Digital Content Producer / Editor (Multimedia)
The position will work with the Wilson Center Vice President of External Relations, the Director of Digital Communications and Marketing and other communications staff, program directors and scholar experts to create video and multimedia content, assist the team on website landing pages, social media posting and content, write for digital collateral as needed and provide back-up response to Wilson Center’s email account. Projects will include, but not limited to, program profiles to event videos to educational products targeting a general audience. Duties will include researching, shooting and editing short videos and audio; taking photographs; writing scripts for video and audio that tell a story; creating multimedia projects such as podcasts, interactive timelines, maps, data visualizations and explainers.

The Climate and Sustainability team is working to build a more equitable world, underpinned by climate-compatible development and sustainable stewardship of natural resources. The ICPC is a large centre within ASPI with approximately 30 staff that work on traditional cyber-security challenges, espionage & foreign interference, emerging and critical technologies, information operations and online disinformation, cyber-capacity building in the Indo-Pacific, and issues related to surveillance, satellite analysis and human rights. The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), a world-leading authority on global security, political risk and military conflict, is seeking to appoint Student Ambassadors for the 2020−21 academic year (October−June).
With the aim to engage young people internationally, the IISS Student Ambassador programme will provide the selected students with an opportunity to attend roundtables, webinars and workshops and to gain exposure to a wide network of IISS experts. The Student Ambassadors will also attend some of our public events and help with IISS’ student outreach through social media and otherwise.
To be considered for the IISS Student Ambassador programme you must be studying at a university in the UK or the US in the 2020−21 academic year. In the US, students residing within the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area who can attend in-person events at the IISS−Americas DC office are preferred. GIGA is offering five fellowships for researchers -
MECAM-Fellowships for the IFG “Aesthetics & Cultural Practice”
The Merian Centre for Advanced Studies in the Maghreb (MECAM) will be established this year at the Université de Tunis/Tunisia to strengthen cooperation in the Humanities and Social Sciences in and across the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Europe. The overall theme “Imagining Futures: Dealing with Disparity” guides MECAM’s research agenda on questions of Aesthetics & Cultural Practice, Inequality & Mobility, Memory & Justice, Resources & Sustainability, and Identities & Beliefs.
In its first call for short-term fellowships, MECAM invites applications for five fellowships for researchers in the context of its Interdisciplinary Fellow Group (IFG) "Aesthetics & Cultural Practice" for the period from April 2021 to July 2021. The members of the group will be required to participate regularly in the activities of the IFG programme and MECAM, to present their research projects and to submit a report on the progress of their research project at the end of the fellowship. In addition, a joint working paper will be prepared and published by the IFG.
